*Note: Essential oils alone can irritate the skin. They should be diluted with a carrier oil like almond oil.

 

Lavender Oil

  • Great for relaxation
  • Can reduce stress hormone levels
  • Can reduce acne scars, and soothe psoriasis
  • I use these at two times. 1. When I am relaxed like when I am in nature, to increase my association with relaxation and lavender. and 2. When I want to relax or calm down, to cue my memory of relaxation through association as well as through the natural components of the aromatherapy.

 

Lemon Oil

  • Increases alertness and focus
  • Can be used to detox the body
  • Keeps fleas away on pets
  • I use this one when I need to focus on tasks like studying, or focusing on remembering something.

 

Eucalyptus Oil

  • Clears the sinuses
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Awakens the senses
  • I use eucalyptus oil to jolt my senses in the morning, and give an added kick to get my day started!
