Here is what you should consider when thinking about what you want and deciding how specific to be:
- Be as specific as it feels good. Pay attention to how you feel when being specific and use that as your gauge. If it feels good to be really specific, then keep doing that. If you feel any negative emotion back off and be more general – teacher example
- Use visualization and scripting to tap into your emotions
- Pay attention to if you get side tracked or distracted with stressful nuances of being too specific
- Check back regularly to see if you can fine tune and be more specific later if it feels good
- By now you should know that it is a myth that you have to be super specific. You should not persist on being specific ifc it causes you resistance.
